A STUDY ON THE THIN REINFORCED PRECAST CONCRETE PAVEMENT WEARING AESTHETIC DESIGN MATERIAL

This paper describes laboratory bending tests of concrete specimen with aesthetic design material(natural stone,tile etc.)and static loading tests of full-size tiled Thin Rainforced Precast Concrete(TRPC)slabs. The results are as follows :1 Fresh concrete placed on the aesthetic materials was bonded firmly and tiled TRPC slab deformed just as concrete slab in the static loading test. 2 Stresses in TRPC slab can be estimated by using theoretical design (ex.Westergaard's) formula before cracking. 3 Relation between K-value and traffic category (LÅ`D) in Japan was indicated according to limit state design method of TRPC slab(thickness:l2cm).
