The two shear capacity formulas are used in JSCE standard specification. One is for a/d >= 2.0 and the other is for a/d < 2.0. However, the connection of them shows a significant gap at a/d = 2.0. The method to ensure continuity in the design shear capacity to a/d is proposed. |
