【抄録】 貴重な実験データの散逸を防ぎ有効利用を可能にするという目的で，これまで鋼構造実験情報データベースが名古屋大学で作成されてきた．本研究では，鋼構造実験情報データベースを耐震実験情報を含むように拡張するとともに，外部からの直接アクセスが容易になるように，Java言語を用いてWWW上にマルチメディアシステムを試作した．
<Abstract> In order to preserve and share experimental data, the Numerical Database of Steel Structures (NDSS) has been developed at Nagoya University. However, it was not easy to access it from other computer platforms due to the lack of proper communication media. With the rapid development of information networks and their browsers, structural engineers and researchers are able to access various types of test data. This paper presents the preparation and development of a multimedia database for the ultimate strength and seismic test results of steel structures and members on the World Wide Web using Java language.
