【抄録】本研究では，歴史的な土木構造物の情報を，パーソナルコンピュータによるマルチメディア技術を使って，表現する手法について検討した．そのために、異なる３つの表現法による事例を作成した．第一は，画像データベースである．これは，長崎市の文化財を分類項目と地図から検索できるものである．第二は，構造物の解説のためのＣＤ−ＲＯＭの作成である．長崎市内にある歴史的な土木構造物を，対話型に解説できるものである．第三は，インターネットによる情報発信である．長崎市内の歴史的な土木構造物の紹介を行っている．これらのマルチメディア技術を，歴史的土木構造物の表現に活用し，土木分野への有効利用の可能性を検討した．
<Abstract>This study is concerned with the presentation of the historical civil structures by the multimedia methods.So,three different methods are examined. Theseare the image database,the CD-ROM product and the World Wide Web.The image database enables to retrieve the cultural assets in Nagasaki city by classification items and maps.The CD-ROM product is use to comment on the civil structures.The CD-ROM title is "A plan of civil structures open museum at Nagasaki city".The World Wide Web introduces historical civil structures in Nagasaki city.We confirm effectiveness of presentation for several historical civil structures by the multimedia technology.
