【抄録】本論文は，マルチメディアパソコンを用いて，従来の文字型の地域情報データベースからマルチメディア型の地域情報データベースへの再構築を試み，その利用法と将来性について論じた．グラフィカルユーザインターフェイスを持つソフトウェア環境で地理地図情報のデータベース化を行い，プレゼンテーションの方法と情報の活用法について述べた．
<Abstract>This paper describes the utilization method and the future of the geographic information system developed with a multi media personal computer. In this research, we used a software which has the graphical user interface (GUI). Weinput geographic information by using "Multi Media Information Note" and added the function of the data base. We made the presentation of this geographic information system and proposed the method to utilize the information.
