【抄録】本研究は道路内走行ビデオ映像を組み込んだ新たな「道路施設点検支援システム (HI-FIS: Highway Facilites Inspection Supporting System)」の設計／構築を目的としている．ビデオ撮影時の条件（撮影工種，走行速度，気象状況等々），ビデオ映像のライブラリィ化とその管理方法，さらにはビデオ映像から既存データベースへのアクセス方式等と含め，道路施設点検支援を目的としたシステム開発における新たな設計指針が整理されている．工種別に設計／開発を進め，システム開発におけるライフサイクルの効率化を図るとともに，発展性，成長性あるシステムを実現している．
<Abstract>The objective of this study is to develop the Highway Facilites Inspection Supporting System using video image, which is called HI-FIS(Highway Facilites Inspection Supporting System). The new guide to design the sub-system of HI-FIS has been investigated and arranged, such as the condition for inspecting the highway facilites, the charge and management method of the video tapes, the form to refer the information in the various kinds of database by using the information derived from the video image and so on. It should be confirmed that this study is a good guide to construct the database system using video image, to say nothing of stationary image data, for supporting the maintenance of road.
