【抄録】 近年，住民参加型の社会資本形成の広がりから，地域住民が土木構造物に対して抱いている感性を把握し，設計に反映することが求められるようになってきている．本研究は，河川護岸の景観評価・設計に，商品開発などで成果をあげている感性工学手法を適用したものである．本研究では，感性評価実験により四国地方の一般住民及び河川管理者が，四国地方の河川護岸に対して抱く感性を把握した．そして，インターネット環境下で閲覧可能な，四国地方の河川景観についての感性データベースを構築した．
<Abstract> Recently the public-involvement infrastructure building is becoming very popular. Hence it is increasing in demand among the civil design engineers to grasp the public Kansei toward civil engineering structures and to reflect it to their actual structural designs. The present research makes effective utilization of Kansei engineering procedures that have been successfully applied to the development of commercial products related with the design and aesthetic of landscape of river protection works. In this undertaking the general public's Kansei together with that of river managing engineers toward the river protection works of Shikoku region are investigated by Kansei evaluation tests. Furthermore a Kansei database system for Shikoku region's river protection works is made up in order that it can be accessible through Internet.
