令和２年度 土木学会 吉田研究奨励賞募集要項
Guidelines for Application on the Yoshida Award, Encouraging Prize

候補対象　Qualification
コンクリート、鉄筋コンクリートおよびプレストレストコンクリートに関する研究に従事し、特に独創性があり将来性に富むと認められる者の個人または複数（3名以内）。ただし、応募締切時において満40歳以下の本会会員に限る。原則として、すでに吉田研究奨励賞を授与された者を除く。
The award is given to individuals and groups (up to three people) who research concrete, reinforced concrete, and prestressed concrete and in whom the JSCE recognizes originality and potential. The applicants must be JSCE members aged 40 years or younger as of the closing date of the application. In principle, those who are former recipients of this award are not eligible.

候補対象者本人の応募による。
The applicants must personally apply for this award.

所定様式により研究計画書を提出する。計画書の様式は下記よりダウンロードし、日本語版と英語版のいずれかを使用すること。
The applicants must submit a research plan using the form on the JSCE website. Either the Japanese or English form can be used.
審査　Selection
吉田賞選考委員会において、研究計画を審査し、受賞者および賞金額を決定する。
The Yoshida Award Selection Committee will review the submitted plans to determine the winners and the award amounts.
表彰　Award ceremony
令和3年度定時総会において行い、賞状および賞金を贈る。
The winners will receive a certificate of merit and the prize money during the FY 2021 General Assembly.

The entry must be received no later than 17:00 on Wednesday, January 20, 2021.

研究成果の発表と報告　Presentation and report of research results
研究成果報告書を2022年12月末日までに吉田賞選考委員会に提出しなければならない。この報告書は研究計画終了翌年度の年次学術講演会あるいは土木学会刊行物において、吉田研究奨励賞を授与された研究であることを明らかにして発表しなければならない。ただし、この場合、被授与者以外の者を連名者に加えることはできるが、講演者または筆頭者にしないものとする。また、前記以外に発表する場合にも、吉田研究奨励賞を授与された研究である旨を明記しなければならない。
The research results should be reported to the Yoshida Award Selection Committee before the end of December 2022. Prior to the report, the research results must have been presented at the JSCE Annual Meeting or published in any of the JSCE publications during the fiscal year after the planned researches were completed. The presentation or publication must clearly state that the research had received the Yoshida Award, Encouraging Prize. While people other than the award winner can be listed as co-researchers, they should not speak at the annual meeting or be designated as the head of the research group. If the research results are also published elsewhere, the publication should clearly note that the research has received the Yoshida Award, Encouraging Prize.
