JSCE Annual Meeting in 2001

  • All participants who previously registered are distributed a CD-ROM of all proceedings including all papers.
  • The registration for submitting papers is available on the JSCE WWW site for Internet users.
  • The papers should be submitted by using PDF files.
  • All participants (authors and audience) are charged for a common registration fees.
  • Audience is also required to register prior to the deadline.


Outlines of registration procedures for JSCE Annual Meeting

The 56th JSCE Annual Meeting will be held in October 2-4, 2001 at Kumamoto University. The registration processes for submitting papers, participation, registration fees and proceedings are the same as those for the JSCE Annual Meeting in 2000. Please carefully read the schedule, qualifications for registration and fees as shown in the following pages. Then register according to the procedure as soon as possible:


Submission of papers on WWW site

All authors who will submit papers are required to register on the JSCE WWW site in principle. Only the papers of PDF type file will be accepted. The fees are 10,000 yen for general members and 7,000 yen for student members. The fees include all expenses of submitting a paper, participation and CD-ROM proceedings. Authors are not required to register again for participation, nor required to pay for participation at the meeting place, because the registration fees include all expenses. Please refer to the JSCE home page http://www. jsce.or.jpto have further information.


Submission of papers by mail

JSCE allows non-users of the Internet to submit printed papers. The fees are, however, more expensive, i.e. 15,000 yen for individual members and 12,000 yen for student members. The fees include all expenses of the translation cost of the printed papers into PDF files, submitting a paper, participation and CD-ROM proceedings. Authors are not required to register again for participation, nor required to pay for participation at the meeting place, because the registration fees include all expenses.


Audience

The registration for audience is also required prior to the meeting in principle. The fees are 10,000 yen for individual members and 7,000 yen for student members. The fees include both expenses of participation and CD-ROM proceedings. The fees will become higher after the deadline. It is recommended to have CD-ROM proceedings by registering before the meeting, because of no service for reading the CD-ROM at the meeting place.


Printed proceedings

You can buy printed proceedings by ordering prior to the meeting. The printed proceedings are limited to the number of orders. In addition, the printed proceedings will not be sold at the meeting place.
