企画テーマ 企画テーマ(英訳)	ITS社会における道路案内誘導の体系化と高度化 Systematization and Development of road guidance in ITS-dependent society
企画概要	道路の案内誘導は，目的地までの経路や交通状況に関する情報を提供して，自動車運転者や歩行者の意思決定を支援するものであり，近年は，案内標識のほかにIT技術に基づく情報提供サービスが進展しつつある．しかし，分かりやすい案内誘導システムの構築のためには，案内標識の体系化や，案内標識とナビゲーションシステムとの連携など，解決すべき課題は多い． この企画部門では，運転者や歩行者を対象とし，「道路利用の安心と安全」を目指して，ITS社会における道路の案内誘導の体系化，様々な情報媒体における案内情報の高度化，あるいは現場での試行に関する研究報告などを募り，学術的・実務的な立場から広く議論することを目的とする．
企画概要(英訳)	The road guidance aims to provide the information of route to the destination and the traffic condition, and to support the decision making of drivers and pedestrians. Recently, the information services based on IT technology are growing in spite of existence of guide sign system. However, for the construction of comprehensible guidance system in the future, many problems such as systematization of the guide sign or the combination between guide sign and car-navigating equipment should be solved. In this plan, the research reports concerning the systematization of road guidance system and the advanced guidance systems in various information medias based on ITS technology are invited. And it is expected to discuss these problems academically and practically. The object of this session is not limited to the drivers.
