企画論文門 セッション企画テーマおよび概要 （３）

企画テーマ 企画テーマ(英訳)	まちづくりと公共交通の再生 Revitalization of community development and public transportation
企画概要	環境的だけでなく，社会的，経済的に持続可能な地域の形成を意図する場合，また高齢社会を踏まえた交通体系を実現する場合，都市の顔づくりを推進する場合において公共交通の果たすべき役割は極めて大きなものがある．しかし，公共交通の現状を見ると首都圏以外の大手私鉄においても利用者の減少傾向は止まることがない．公共交通の利用促進を行い，安定した公共交通サービスを提供することは急務である． こうした問題に対して，人・公共交通，さらに自動車を含めた交通政策を検討するとともに，都市計画やまちづくりなどを含めた検討を行うことが不可欠である．本セッションでは，以上の問題意識のもとに活発な議論を行いたい．
企画概要(英訳)	The role that public transportation should play when the formation of an environment, a socially, and economically sustainable region is intended or the traffic system that bases the coming of the aged society is achieved moreover or the face-making of the city is promoted has the extremely big one. However, the decreasing tendency of the user in the railway never stops in major private railways other than the metropolitan area if the current state of public transportation is seen. It is a pressing need to do the use promotion in a public, transportation business, and to provide a steady, public, traffic service. It is indispensable to such a problem to examine the road traffic policy including a person, public transportation, and the car, and to examine the road traffic policy including the city planning and community development. In this session, I want to discuss it concerning the reproduction of a city planning and public transportation under the above-mentioned problem consideration.
