n        JSCE Standard Specifications for Concrete Structures

The English translated version of the latest JSCE Standard Specifications for Concrete Structures have been published.

The current edition of the Standard Specifications for Concrete Structures, published in 2001 and 2002 is based on the gPerformance-Basedh concept. The contents of these Standard Specifications are, therefore, quite different from the previous edition.

Taking into account the above, in 2002 the Concrete Committee set up a Committee on English Translation of the Standard Specifications to prepare an English version of the current edition of the Standard Specifications. Out of the seven parts, the following four parts are included in this English version:

l         Standard Specifications for Concrete Structures -2002
gStructural Performance Verificationh (274 pages)
Selected Examples of Description;
  - Contents
  - Chapter 2  Basis of Design
  - Chapter 6  Verification of Structural Safety

l         Standard Specifications for Concrete Structures -2001
gMaintenanceh (170 pages)
Selected Examples of Description;
